Ceph

  • benchmarking is going well, updates to the socorro dev list
  • we have the test cluster until august 15
  • apache on the ceph box seems saturated
  • wrote one benchmarking tool (mailed the list), found wrk tool
  • focused only on perf, can test correctness on slower boxes

Postgres

  • nothing

AWS

  • re-evaluating AWS as an alternative to ceph
  • Scoorro is running on an ec2 micro
  • Looking to scale up to a full staging environment to eval AWS
  • whether or not we go with AWS, some services will be on it (m8 ball)
