Details

For testing this feature will use a file test which provides some test snippets with various weights
Steps:

• • Launch Fennec
    
  • Go to about:config
  • Change the value of the 'browser.snippets.updateUrl' setting to 'http://people.mozilla.org/~mleibovic/snippets.json'
  • Optional 'browser.snippets.updateInterval' value can be changed to pull in that test file more quickly (default value 24 hours)
    

• • Every time when home page is reopened, another snippet should be displayed and the snippets with higher weight should appear more frequently
